Forest Management

JCA, Inc. prepares  forest stewardship and native plant community restoration plans. The firm  prepares timber harvesting plans (including timber marking and site monitoring) within red-cockaded woodpecker (RCW) habitats following federal guidelines.

• Timber marking on a 516 acre golf course – residential development for red-cockaded woodpecker habitat improvement, Southern Pines, Moore County, North Carolina.
• Conducted timber inventory and timber sale assessments for 9,732-acre preserve, Tyrrell County, North Carolina.
• Inventoried timber stands and vegetation and created GPS/GIS data base for 35,500-acres, Onslow County, North Carolina.
